When you purchase PixelPrint you’ll receive it in your inventory. To get started:
- Rez the printer by dragging it from your inventory to the ground in front of you.
- It will ask you for debit permissions (Pro version). Click “Grant”.
- Right click and EDIT.
- Open the “!!!Settings” notecard by double clicking on it.
- Once you are done editing, save the notecard.
- Locate “My Portrait Printing Card” in the contents of the pc / printer.
- Right click and select “Properties”
- Be sure the name is the same as the “cardname” in your “!!!Settings” notecard.
- REMOVE THE COPY PERMISSION FROM THE CARD. IT SHOULD BE MODIFY / TRANSFER ONLY
- Be sure the description is the same as the “workstation” in your “!!!Settings” notecard
The cardname and workstation do not need to be the same as eachother, but you will have to chane them if you place more than one printer out, For instance, the next printer you place could be:

workstation=Main2
YOU CAN NAME THE PRINTING CARD AFTER YOUR BUSINESS (i.e. N30 PHOTOGRAPHY PRINTING CARD)!
- When the printer asks for debit permission, Grant it. This may happen more than once as you edit the properties on your printing card.
Now you are all set up! Let’s add your photos to the printer:
- Delete any installed photos from the printer that you do not want.
- Locate your photos in your inventory and be sure they have FULL PERMISSIONS. Use your SHIFT or CONTROL key to select multiple textures. Dragging them one at a time will cause your printer to reset each time you add a texture.
- Drag the textures to the workstations’ inventory.
- Grant debit permission as the printer resets itself.
- Touch the screen to turn the printer ON.
Using the Printer:
- Use the arrow keys to view photos.
- Click on the photo you want to see and it appears in the large preview area.
- Click on the orientation buttons (Portrait, Landscape, Square, and Round) to see how the photo looks for each.
- When you are ready to print, right click and purchase a printer card by selecting “Pay”.
- Locate the printing card in your inventory and rez/drag it onto the printer.
- It will ask you if it can delink/link to other objects, select “Yes”.
- When you have found the photo you want to print click on the large preview photo.
- The printer should respond with “Ready to Print!”
- Answer the questions on the blue menu to complete the print job.
- The photo will print. Take it into your inventory!
Note: It is best to have your automatic parcel return set on in case othes forget to take their portraits.
