Backgrounds
- Studio Background Mode – There are currently eight (8) buttons on the left of the N30 Control Center. The top one being the Background button which sets the studios 30 panel display into background mode.
- Background Hue Control – Clicking on an area of the Hue Control Strip will change the background color while in background mode

- One-Click Background Positioning – The texture shown upper canvas can be moved around by clicking it You can also click and drag it to center it behind your model wherever you wish. If the layer is on you will get a menu when clicking, simply select OFF. The One-Click Background Positioning is set to off by default. You can click on your Home Menu button to turn it on (One Click).
- Two Background Display Modes – N30 Foundations has changed the background format to allow the use of backgrounds that are not “sliced”. Users may install original N30 backgrounds as well as new ones and display them in background mode 1 or 2. To reset the texture alignment, click the Background Mode 1 or 2 button on the bottom of the Control Center.
- Background display mode 1 – Assumes that the background showing is a pre-Foundations background and sets the texture display to show the sliced image on each piece of the canvas.
- Background display mode 2 – Assumes that the background is one texture and distributes it to each of the 3 canvas sections.
- Auto Background Mode [settings notecard “autobackmode-“] – Detects if the current background is a pre-Foundations background and sets the studio in the correct background mode automatically.
- Install Backgrounds Button – Clicking this button tells your studio that you are ready to install backgrounds. You have 1 minute. There is no constant listening for your “EZ Install Backpack Case”. You must turn this on to install your backgrounds. You can turn it off when you are done or it will deactivate on it’s own after 1 minute.
- FB Full Bright -This is a button to set the canvas to full bright. Clicking it again will turn off full bright.
- G Glow – This is a button to set the canvas to glow. Clicking it again toggle the glow level to 1 of 3 levels then off again.
- T Tile – Tiles the current background. Has 2 tile settings. This is useful for patterned backgrounds.
- Tall Mode – The button with arrows pointing up and down increases the height of the studio canvas. It has 3 height settings (default, and 2 taller heights).
- Wide Mode – Wide Mode – The button with arrows pointing left and right increases the width of the studio canvas. It has 3 width settings (default, and 2 wider widths).
- 30 Panel Backgrounds Display – Using the arrows above the background panels you can browse your installed backgrounds. Clicking on a background sends it to the preview panel. To send the background texture to the canvas, simply click the background you chose on the preview panel.
