Adding Your Own Textures
To add your own backgrounds, you MUST add your texture to the control box AND to the upper canvas (at minimum). To do this you will need to know how to edit linked parts. If you already know how to do this you can skip to number 8 below.
- Right click on the control box and choose *EDIT*.
- Your edit window will come up and you will see a checkbox for *Edit linked parts*. PUT A CHECK IN IT by clicking in the box.
- Now left click on the control box. You will notice that it is the only part of the studio that is highlighted YELLOW now.
- Click on the Content tab in your edit window for the control box.
- Now drag your texture from your inventory into the Content tab using your left mouse button.
- Now using your left mouse button, click on the upper canvas. You will notice that it is highlighted BLUE now.
- Now drag your texture from your inventory into the Content tab (which should already be open) using your left mouse button.
- To add textures, you MUST have the texture in the upper canvas and the control box at minimum. If you want to add more advanced textures that utilize the mid and lower canvas sections, you can do so but remembering that the texture must be named the same in all sections and the control box. This is how the script knows to show the texture when the control box tells it to display “fauxsuede-gray”, it will look for fauxsuede-gray in all canvas sections.
