Changes in v3.0
Many changes have been implemented since version 2.9. The addition of Windlight to SL has had a very significant impact on this version (and for the better!)
- Removed the Glow Lamps (see Glow feature)
- Added Glowť feature which adds a soft glowť to the scene
- Removed the need to input a Studio ID into notecards. This feature was introduced in an earlier version to allow multiple studios to be present in the same vicinity without them being confused by speaking to each other.
- The HUD now detects the Studio ID. No need to input it on a notecard.
- New HUD
- Added some effects
- The Studio is now phantom the studio for ease of movement
- Modeling table now locks so that when hidden, it does not lower the avatar to the canvas.
- Added Public/Private Pose which when set to public allows those not on the access list (when in use) to use the modeling table. When set to private (default) those not on the access list will not be able to use the modeling table when the access list is being used.
- Added the ability to turn the canvas touch on and off so the background does not change when the canvas is touched. Useful when you have someone you are photographing who keeps accidentally touching the canvas which changes the background.
- Added ability for group members to disable scripts in the studio. This comes in handy when the region is group owned and no one owner is able to disable scripts in the owners absence.
- The studio support beams now stretch with the studio (medium and large sizes)
- Removed the Flexifan from the actual studio to reduce lag and griefing. It comes as a separate object in the trunk.
CREATIVE CHANGES
- All new poses! The old poses were made with without rotating the shoulders. I have created all new poses. The first 50 are female poses and the last 50 are male poses.
- Added a shadow features
- Installed poses now have optional shadows
TECHNICAL CHANGES
- Reduced the amount of listens
- Ability for the sim owner to click the title bar on the studio and check the sim dilation as well as turn the scripts off on the studio (useful when the owner is not around).
- Combined and optimized many scripts
- Fixed camera offset when sitting on modeling table
- Reduced the sim lag time from aprox 0.800 to an average of 0.350
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Total 78 60 Prims
KNOWN ISSUES
- When rotating the modeling table with /2 rotate or /2 xrotate (or by using the buttons) the modeling table (and prop if applicable) may not stop at the stopping point but instead revert back to 0 degrees respectively. This is due to a glitch in SL which we are aware of. Please vote to fix this issue: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-5303
